Every NITROX film is covered against manufacturing defects from the day it is installed by an authorized partner. The term depends on the film, and coverage stays with the vehicle it was registered to.

What the warranty covers

Keep the film clean with pH-neutral shampoo, avoid waxes with abrasives, and let the self-healing top coat do its work in warm sun or with gentle heat.
How a claim works
Coverage is tied to the certificate issued at installation. Three steps, no paperwork on your side.

Check your certificate
Every NITROX installation is registered by the installer and issued a certificate with a QR code. Scan it, or enter the warranty number online, to confirm the coverage and dates on record.
- 02
Return to your installer
Claims go through the authorized partner who fitted the film. They inspect the panel, photograph the issue and open the claim with NITROX on your behalf.
- 03
Film replaced, no charge
Approved claims are resolved by replacing the affected film at an authorized partner. Coverage continues for the remainder of the original term.

- What is paint protection film (PPF)?
- Paint protection film is a clear, flexible polyurethane film applied over a vehicle’s painted panels to absorb stone chips, scuffs, swirl marks and road salt before they reach the paint. NITROX PPF adds a self-healing top coat, so light scratches disappear with heat from the sun or warm water, and the finish stays glossy or matte depending on the film you choose.
- How thick is NITROX paint protection film?
- NITROX films range from 180.5 to 260 microns. Monza is 180.5 microns, Sprint 190.5, Le Mans and Shadow 200, Daytona 240 and Blue Force 260 microns. Thicker films absorb more impact energy, while slimmer films follow sharp body lines with less visible edge.
- Does NITROX PPF self-heal?
- Yes. Every NITROX film has a self-healing top coat. Light swirl marks and fine scratches in the top coat close up when the surface warms, either in direct sunlight, with warm water or with a heat gun used by your installer. Deeper damage that punctures the film is not self-healing and is excluded from the warranty.
- How long does NITROX PPF last and what warranty does it carry?
- NITROX films are warranted for 5, 7 or 10 years depending on the film. Sprint carries a 5-year warranty, Monza, Daytona and Shadow carry 7 years, and Le Mans and Blue Force carry 10 years. The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling and loss of the self-healing top coat when the film is fitted by an authorized NITROX partner.
- Will paint protection film change how my paint looks?
- A clear gloss NITROX film is designed to be invisible once installed, keeping the original colour and depth of the paint. If you want a different look, Shadow is a matte film that gives any colour a low-sheen satin finish while still protecting the paint underneath.
- How do I verify a NITROX warranty certificate?
- Scan the QR code on your NITROX warranty certificate, or open verify.nitroxppf.com and enter the warranty number. The page shows the vehicle, the film installed, the installer, the installation date and when coverage ends, so you can confirm a car’s protection before you buy it or before you make a claim.
- Where can I get NITROX paint protection film installed?
- NITROX is installed only by authorized partners, so the warranty is valid and the film is fitted correctly. - How do I care for a car with paint protection film?

Light scratches in the top coat heal with warmth, so parking in the sun or rinsing with warm water keeps the surface looking new.
